JOINING :
Send this club a note with the subject 'join' and please tell us in the note which house you would like to belong to.
Wait for a reply and when you get a confirmation note consider yourself a member
Be patient, it can take up to 2 weeks to answer all the joining notes. We often receive up to 20 a day.
If you waited and still havent received a confirmation note, send the note again taking care to correctly title the note and include the HOUSE in which you would like to be placed.
If you are still unsure if it sent or not, go into your notes and check your out box. It will tell you if the note sent and whether it has been read or not. If the little note symbol is yellow, we have not received it yet, if its gray, its been read and will either be replied to soon, or it was deleted for a reason as stated below.
All untitled notes or join notes without a house are deleted.

SUBMISSIONS :
Simply send us a note with SUBMIT or SUBMISSION in the subject line and a link to your artwork contained within the note.
YOU MUST SEND THE ARTWORK TO THE CLUB!!
Even thought there are different admins for different submissions artworks MUST be submitted to the club, not the admins personal accounts.
You are most welcome to include the title of your work, but please place it after the link in this format:

Yes, just make sure all entries are in the link title format.
It will be placed up in the Monthly Submissions list. This is done by journal, so once it is complete it will appear in the inbox of all our members, lurkers and watchers for their perusing pleasure.
We have on average over 50 submissions a month. It is simply not feasible for all of them to go into the clubs gallery.
Which artworks do and don't go into the gallery is the sole discretion of the submissions admin and current Head of Hufflepuff ~Ranku
Asking for your artworks to be put in the gallery is a good way to get your note deleted.

We beg you to remember, however, that our Head of Hufflepuff is a lovable airhead but will be brutally honest to your face.
So dont ask for an answer unless youre sure you want to hear it.
Anything deviantART accepts, we accept.
This often happens and here is why:
Notes sent in month A go in month A's submissions listing.
Notes sent in month B will go in month B's listing.
You sent your note on the 2nd of month B, so your note WILL go in Month B's listing, even if Month A's listing hasn't been posted yet.
CONTESTS & PRIZES
At the moment we try to hold them every 2 months to allow for our members busy lives and other clubs they may be in.
We would love to hear it, send us a note titled Contest Idea. If we use it, you will be credited in the Contest journal and thanked repeatedly.
We are not currently holding Fanfiction contests. We did in the past, however the lack of participation convinced us to give it up.
If you give us a good idea for a really really good Fanfiction contest, we are very willing to hold one again.

Yes, in fairness to those who are joining the club when people who have been with the club longer already have 6 or 7 stars.
If you would like to be a member of the Art Request Team please send a note titled "Art Request Team" to the club for more details as some rules do apply.
GENERAL QUESTIONS
Administration hides comments because they contain anything ranging from spoilers for the HP books to general spam to people who go out of their way to hate on Harry Potter and the series.
STAFF
Send a note to ~Ranku She is in charge of all that fun stuff.
Even if there isn't currently a Head of House position open and you have something you'd like to offer the club, let ~Ranku know. We have actually have up to 7 admin positions available, however, usually only 3 - 4 filled at any one time.
The responsibilities of the Admins vary depending on the amount of time they have to devote to the Club, how long they have been with the Club and so on.
